The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sheikhpura (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 56 of 2016 registered under Sections 498A, 323, 307/34 of the I.P.C. and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act pending in the Court of C.J.M., Sheikhpura.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. It is also submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case.
Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner with submission that there is
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3865 of 2017 (3) dt.22-06-2017 2/2 direct allegation of demand and torture with intention to kill her and the mediation also fails. Hence, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail.
Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of the allegation, I am not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
