====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 2 20-08-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Despite repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Case No. CI -184 of 2016 registered under Section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the house from where the alleged 10 liter liquor is alleged to have been recovered is in joint possession and the petitioner has got no concern with the seized article. It is further submitted that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody in the present case since 23rd June, 2016.

No.35231 of 2016 (2) dt.20-08-2016 2 / 2 Regard being had to the nature of allegation and the period undergone by the petitioner in custody, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Case No. CI -184 of 2016.
