The petitioner has been in custody since 20.08.2018 in connection with Barsoi (Kachna O.P.) P.S. Case No. 226 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only because he was travelling in the tempo in which the alleged recoveries were made, he has been taken into custody. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is languishing in jail for no fault of his own.

In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58091 of 2018 (2) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.-II, cum Special Judge (Excise), Katihar, in connection with Barsoi (Kachna O.P.) P.S. Case No. 226 of 2018.
