2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Katihar Nagar P.S. Case No. 774 of 2024 dated 21.10.2024 registered for the offences punishable under sections 303(2) and 317(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. The main submissions advanced by petitioner's counsel are that the instant matter relates to theft of the informant's motorcycle from a public place and the FIR was registered against unknown and during the course of investigation, the police made the petitioner accused mainly on the basis of suspicion and later, recorded his confessional statement which has no evidentiary value. It is further submitted
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23474 of 2025(2) dt.30-04-2025 2/2 that the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 22.10.2024 and against him the investigation has been completed, though against him there is criminal antecedent of one case but he is on bail in the said case.
4. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer of the petitioner.

In the facts and circumstances of this case as well as considering the above submissions and mainly the petitioner's custody period coupled with completion of investigation against him, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court concerned in connection with Katihar Nagar P.S.
