1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the petitioner prays for cancellation of the list of appointment candidates on Class IVth post and also candidates for waiting list published in pursuance of order no. 145 admn. of 2015 issued by the order of District & Sessions Judge, Samastipur the dated 4-5/5/2015 by issuing a writ of certiorari or by any other appropriate writ as your Lordships deem fit and proper and further be please to direct the authorities to appoint the petitioner treating him to be the abashed and fittest candidate for class four post in the Samastipur Civil Court or alternatively

Patna High Court CWJC No.12042 of 2015(2) dt.31-08-2023 2/2 direct the authority by writ of mandamus to hold the interview of fresh and direct them disclose or reveal the percentage of marks obtained by each candidate in the interview obtained by each candidate in the interview."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
