2. Taking note of aforesaid, after short argument, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.

3. Considering the aforesaid, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.

4. However, as petitioner is in custody since 27.08.2024, the learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receiving of a copy of this order.
