2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, this petitioner along with three other accused persons kidnapped daughter of the informant for the purpose of marriage.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that victim in her statement recorded under section 183 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has stated that she left the house with this petitioner and performed marriage with him out of her free will. Charge sheet has already been filed. Petitioner is in custody since 25.9.2024.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and period of custody of the petitioner, his prayer for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate 1st class, Madhepura in Murliganj Police Station Case No. 248 of 2024.
