2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 393 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 308(5), 109 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. The petitioner and Karu Singh shot at the informant in his shop for non payment of extortion (rangadari) of Rs. 5 lakhs in the town of Munger. The petitioner is in custody since 29.12.2024.

4. Considering the serious allegation of demand of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19077 of 2025(3) dt.23-07-2025 2/2 rangadari, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
