JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-09-2025 Heard Ms. Kiran Kumari Sharma, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner; Mr.Shailendra Kumar Singh, learned APP for the State and Mr. Pramod Kr. Yadav, learned counsel for O.P. No.2.

2. Considering the nature of allegation made in the FIR and also the fact that matter relates to matrimonial dispute, I find that the matter can be resolved outside the Court by way of mediation.

3. The petitioner and O.P. No.2 are directed to appear before the learned District Court on 19.09.2025 sharp at 10:30 a.m.

4. Learned District Court is directed to take necessary

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27450 of 2024(7) dt.11-09-2025 2/2 action to refer the matter before the learned mediator of the District Mediation Center.

5. Learned Mediator of the District Mediation Center concerned shall make his/her best efforts to settle the dispute amicably and thereafter submit his/her report before the concerned learned District Court, well within a period of four months, till then, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.36/2022.

6. In case of failure on the part of the petitioner to appear on 19.09.2025 before the learned District Court or any date fixed by the learned Mediator, the interim protection granted to the petitioner shall automatically lose its force.

7. In case, the parties fail to reconcile, then in that case, the learned District Court shall proceed with the trial.

8. In case the parties resolve their dispute amicably, then the proceeding is required to be dropped.

9. Accordingly, the present application stands disposed of.
