2. This petition has been preferred by the petitioners being aggrieved with the final merit list of the Home Guard under the District of Gaya pursuant to the advertisement No. 02/2011.

3. According to the counsel for the petitioners instead of issuing a merit list as District wise, the same has been prepared and issued on Block-wise, which is counter to the advertisement. Referring to the judgment passed by the Division Bench of this Court in L.P.A. 645/2021 order dated 20.06.2024 learned counsel submits that the issue has already been settled by this Court and it has been held in the above cases that the final merit list shall be published District wise instead of Block wise. Further referring to the other judgment passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in the case of Poonam Kumari and others Vs. The State of Bihar and others passed in C.W.J.C. No. 3709 of 2025 dated 03.03.2025, he further submits that in the light of observation made by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in above referred case, this petition may also be disposed of.

4. Learned counsel respondents-State do not oppose the above argument raised by the counsel for the petitioners. However, it is submitted by the State-counsel that the grievance as has been raised by petitioners before this Court, is required to the consider by the concerned authority i.e. District Magistrate-cum-Chairman (Respondent No. 04)

5. Considering the submission put forth by both the

Patna High Court CWJC No.5608 of 2025(2) dt.08-04-2025 3/3 counsels, this petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to firstly make a detailed representation raising all grounds as they raised in this writ petition before the Respondent No. 04 probably within two weeks from today and in turn, on submission of such representation, the Respondent No. 04 is directed to consider and decide the same in accordance with relevant rules and law as early as possible probably within 45 days from the submission of such representation.

6. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
