This application, for grant of regular bail, arises out of Lalganj Police Station Case No. 316 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

It is alleged that 100 litres of country Chauli liquor has been recovered near peeple tree in Jafrabad Diyar and some persons fled away on seeing the police team. The petitioner is in custody since 12.02.2023 and he has two criminal antecedents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in the present case.
