Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Katihar Town P.S. Case No. 468 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that merely on suspicion petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. He has no concern with liquor in question. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 19.07.2018.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58303 of 2018(2) dt.28-09-2018 2/2 bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional District and Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Katihar in connection with Katihar Town P.S. Case No. 468 of 2018.
