JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 27-07-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i) For issuance of a direction upon respondent no. 2 to grant appointment on an appropriate post on compassionate ground to the petitioner wherefor, pursuant to the application for compassionate appointment by the petitioner a slew of inter/intra officials communications were exchanged by the respondents inter se till 26.02.2011, yet no order as to the appointment of the petitioner has been passed.

Patna High Court CWJC No.17752 of 2014(2) dt.27-07-2023 2/2 (ii) For a direction upon the respondents to redress the grievance of the petitioner registered as complaint no. 00016 dated 09.04.2011 at the compassionate appointment related camp organized at Saharsa exclusively for resolution of grievances related to compassionate appointment to the heirs of the deceased employees of the Board.

(iii) For holding that the primary object of compassionate appointment is to save the bereaved family from sudden financial crisis occurring due to the death of the sole bread winner."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, on account of efflux of time.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
