ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 01-10-2015 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment and order of conviction dated 14.08.2012 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Sitamarhi, in G.R. No.339 of 2003/Tr. No.1666 of 2012 by which he has been sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for two years with fine of `two thousand and in default of the same further simple imprisonment for one month under section 304-A Indian Penal Code and simple imprisonment for six months with fine of `five hundred and in default of the same further simple imprisonment for fifteen days under section 279 Indian Penal Code as also the judgment dated 11th June, 2015, passed by the Ad hoc Additional Sessions Judge, 2, Sitamarhi, in Cr. Appeal No.51 of 2012/44 of 2013.
Patna High Court CR. REV. No.777 of 2015 dt.01-10-2015 2/2 After having gone through the impugned judgments, I do not find any reason for interference into the same. The Revision Application is dismissed.
However, considering the period of custody, substantive sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by him.
The Petitioner shall pay a sum of `10,000/- (ten thousand) as fine before his release from the custody. (Anjana Prakash, J) JA/- U T
