Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner happens to be husband of the deceased and bail is sought on the ground that after institution of the present case, informant filed compromise petition but I am not at all convinced with the aforesaid submission. Learned trial court has reported that charge has already been framed on 25.10.2016 and two prosecution witnesses have already been examined.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Sessions Trial no. 857/2016 arising out of Madhuban P.S. case no. 25/2015 stands rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35998 of 2016 (5) dt.02-12-2016 Champaran at Motihari must expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same as early as possible, preferably, within six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
