JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 10-02-2025 Heard Mr. Upendra Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Jitendra Kumar Roy No.1, SC-13 along with Mr. B. B. Prasad, learned AC to SC-13 for the State.

2. It appears that the University has purposely delayed the payment of admitted dues to the petitioner which was

3. It is informed by the parties that a sum of Rs. 54 crores has been released to the University for payment of salary of the employees of the University including the petitioner. In spite of the admitted position, the concerned authority of the University including the Vice Chancellor, Registrar and Finance Officer are not making payment of the admitted dues which is required to be paid to the petitioner at an early date. The petitioner is a retired employee and is facing harassment due to callous attitude of the authority of the University. Payment is required to be made forthwith to the petitioner soon the entire amount which has been released, amounting to Rs. 54 crores is credited into the account of the University.

4. In case of failure, this Court will pass appropriate order, if the petitioner is aggrieved in any manner.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.
