Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Misc. Excise Case No. 571 of 2018 (P.R. Case No. 40 of 2018) registered for the offence punishable under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that merely on suspicion petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He has no concern with liquor in question. Nothing incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner was not apprehended at the spot. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 04.08.2018.
