JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 29-03-2019 The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Punpun P.S. Case No. 344 of 2018, dated 13.12.2018, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307, 427, 324, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner happens to be the maternal grandson of the informant, who is alleged to have assaulted the informant and took away Rs. 40,000/- from the house in a drunken state.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the aforesaid allegation cannot be accepted to

It has been submitted that there is some dispute between the petitioner and his brother and the present case has been lodged by his maternal grandmother at the instance of other brother.
Considering the facts aforestated, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the present order, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna, in connection with Punpun P.S.
