2. The following reliefs as formulated by the petitioner have been claimed in the writ petition- "(i) For issuance of writ in nature of mandamus and directing and commanding the respondent authorities for compliance vide order dated 24.02.2012 passed by

Patna High Court CWJC No.6650 of 2020 dt.29-11-2021 2/3 D.C.L.R., Sitamarhi Sadar in case no.75/2011/--12 by reason and speaking order within time framed. (ii) For direction to the respondents to measurement of the mentioned plots in the order then demarcate the plots either raiyati land or Public land according to law.

(iii) For other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is found to be entitled in the eye of law".

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has filed a representation before the Circle Officer, Dumra, Sitamarhi (respondent no.6) on 21.05.2013 for measurement and demarcation of his land, which appears to be pending. It will suffice if a direction for disposal of the representation is issued without entering into the detailed merits of the matter.

4. Learned counsel for the State appears and has been heard.

5. Having regard to the nature of the grievances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Circle Officer, Dumra, Sitamarhi (respondent no.6) to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, said to have been filed on 21.05.2013, if still pending, on its own merits in accordance with law and after grant of an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, expeditiously and in any event preferably within a period of eight
