====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-04-2025 Heard Mr. Umesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Nityanand, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Jadopur P.S. Case No. 211/2024 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per the allegation made in the F.I.R., altogether 72 litres of country made liquor was recovered from gunny bags. It is alleged that all the accused persons including the petitioner fled away after throwing the said gunny bags after seeing the police party. The place of recovery is near Utkramit Primary School.

4. Considering the nature of allegation, as well as, the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21767 of 2025(2) dt.23-04-2025 2/2 criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on pre-arrest bail.

5. The petitioner, if so advised, may surrender before the learned District Court for grant of regular bail. Learned District Court is directed to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day and pass necessary order considering the nature of allegation without being prejudiced by his earlier order.

6. The bail application stands disposed of.
