Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased who died within two years of her marriage in other than normal circumstances. There is allegation against the petitioner that he used to torture the deceased due to non-fulfilment of illegal demand.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in course of investigation, almost all the witnesses stated that the deceased was caught in fire accidentally and while she was being taken to hospital, she died on way. Regard being had to the facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, I do not think it proper to release the above named petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36460 of 2016 (3) dt.25-10-2016 2/2 prayer for bail in connection with Sahiyara P.S.Case No.40 of 2012 pending in the court of CJM, Sitamarhi stands rejected. However, the concerned court should expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same as early as possible.
