Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 47A of the Excise Act.

One liter mahua liquor and three glasses are said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner for which petitioner is in jail custody since 4.5.2016. Petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in C-I Case no. 185/2016.
