The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a criminal prosecution registered under Section 364(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is accused in two other criminal cases, one of which is of identical nature, this Court is not inclined to accede to the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 281 of 2014, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders in the court below within a period of four weeks from today and, if so advised, applies for regular bail, then the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced/ influenced by the rejection of the present application.
