JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 27-09-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections-2(16), 9, 27, R/W 38(V), (2), 49(B), 51, 52 and 57 of the Wildlife Protection Act.
The name of petitioner came in this case in confessional statement of co-accused and according to prosecution case itself, nothing had been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner and it is only stated against the petitioner that he along with others unskinned the corpse of a tiger. Moreover, having more or less similar allegation, some co-accused have already been granted privilege of bail.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28325 of 2016 (3) dt.27-09-2016 2/2 Accordingly, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with I.F.
