The petitioner seeks bail in Sasaram (M) P.S. Case No.91 of 2018, registered under Sections 30(a), 34 and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The gist of allegation is that the police got information that some people are preparing country made liquor by the side of Rampur canal. The police went there and raided the place. The petitioner and other accused persons are alleged to have fled away but 150 liters of country made liquor is said to have been recovered from the place of occurrence. The learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner was not apprehended on the spot and petitioner is in jail since 22.07.2018 for no fault on his part. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.58479 of 2018(2) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned IInd Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Sasaram (M) P.S. Case No.91 of 2018.
