The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Barauni P.S. Case No. 27 of 2015 instituted for the offence under Sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

It is alleged that one quintal and ten kilograms of ganja was recovered from a Bolero vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was apprehended by the police and he disclosed the name of this petitioner before police in his confessional statement. The investigation of the case is still continuing. In such circumstances, this court is not inclined to grant the petitioner anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, this anticipatory bail petition is hereby rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1641 of 2017 (3) dt.21-02-2017 2/2 court below within four weeks from today and seeks regular bail which shall be disposed of by the court below in accordance with law without being prejudiced by this order.
