In the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent to issue the licence of Revolver/Pistol for safely of his life and property. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has filed an application for issuance of arms licence vide Annexure-3 to the present application. The said application is still pending.

The District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur (respondent No.

2) is directed to look into the matter and pass necessary order/direction on the said application of the petitioner for arms licence in accordance with law within a period of four months
