The petitioner has renewed his prayer of bail which was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 29.06.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 37229 of 2018.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though charges have already been framed in this case but the trial has not yet begun.
Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer of regular bail of the petitioner. It is submitted that if the petitioner will come out of jail, at this stage the trial is likely to be affected.
Finding the seriousness of the allegations where huge quantity of banned arms and ammunition were allegedly

No.29571 of 2019(2) dt.23-08-2019 2/2 recovered from the house of the petitioner and then the petitioner could be arrested only after a period of four years, this Court is not persuaded to grant regular bail to the petitioner even at this stage. Apart from the present case of serious nature, there are two other cases in which the petitioner is an accused. This application is dismissed.
The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial of the case on day to day basis. The Superintendent of Police, Naugachia is directed to ensure that the witnesses are produced on the date fixed in the trial, so that the trial may be concluded at the earliest.
