Case No. 14 of 2015 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 337 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 3(2)(iv) and 3(2)(v) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, is not maintainable in law in view of Section 14-A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015, which came into force with effect from 26.01.2016.
