JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-01-2025 Heard Mr. Ramesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Ms. Abhanjalli, learned AC to GA 12 appearing on behalf of the State.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present writ petition, with a liberty to avail remedy before the District Teacher Appellate Authority.

3. Considering the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner is required to file Limitation Petition for condonation of delay in filing of the said

Patna High Court CWJC No.6782 of 2020(5) dt.20-01-2025 2/2 appeal. The District Appellate Authority must consider to condone any delay in filing of the appeal, considering the fact that the entire world was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and the writ petition was filed in the year 2020 during which period several advisories were issued by the Central Government and the State Government, as well as, by this Court.

4. After condoning the delay, the District Appellate Authority is directed to adjudicate the appeal filed on behalf of the petitioner expeditiously, in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
