The petitioner is accused in connection with Siwaipatti P.S. Case No. 44 of 2014, registered under Section 3/4 of Explosive Substance Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation, the name of the petitioner has been surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused Md. Abdul and Manjoor Alam, except the confessional statement there is nothing against the petitioner to show his involvement in the present case. Further submission is that petitioner is accused in four other cases, but he is on bail in all cases. The petitioner is in custody since 02.09.2014.
