This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Special Excise Case No. 2230 of 2022 arising out of Bikram P.S. Case No. 528 of 2022 registered under section 30(a), 32(i)(ii), 36, 41(i)(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 2040 litre foreign liquor and also the petitioner is in custody since 09.12.2022.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of charge and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Judge, Danapur District-Patna in connection with Special Excise Case No. 2230 of 2022 arising out of Bikram P.S. Case No. 528 of 2022.

The petitioner will visit Bikram police station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
