The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the informant who happens to be employed by the courier for delivering goods, was looted by three accused persons on the point of pistol of his belongings including Rs.42,708/ in cash.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the F.I.R. was registered against three unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired in the confessional statement of coaccused Raja Kumar made in Amnour P.S. Case no. 130 of 2019. No material has transpired in course of investigating to connect the petitioner with the alleged crime. The petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29360 of 2021(4) dt.16-12-2021 2/2 in custody since 23.6.2020 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner being in custody for over 1 years 5 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Amnour P.S. Case no. 112 of 2019 (Sessions Trial no.2976 of 2020) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.-III, Saran at Chapra.
