JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-01-2025 Heard Mr. Digvijay Kumar Ojha, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Prabhakar Jha, learned GP 27 appearing on behalf of the State; and Mr. Shailesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the L.N.M.U.

2. It is informed that the State has released the fund barring the benefits of difference of D.A., H.R.A. and Medical Allowances for the period of 01.01.2006 to 31.03.2010, as

Patna High Court CWJC No.6945 of 2020(4) dt.21-01-2025 2/3 claimed by the petitioner in the present writ petition, for which he has filed LPA No.667 of 2021, which is pending before this Court.

3. Mr. Shailesh Kumar, learned counsel has tendered his appearance on behalf of the L.N.M.U. and informs that in view of the statement made in para no.6 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent nos.3-5 (the University Authorities), a sum of amount Rs.2,34,424/- was found payable to the petitioner and in view of the clear statement made in para no.13 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the State, the said amount, as on date, must have been paid.

4. Considering the information given on behalf of the respondents both the State and the University, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the Registrar of the University to verify, as to whether, the petitioner has been paid the due sum, as admitted in para no.6 of the counter affidavit filed on his behalf. In case, the petitioner has not been paid then the same should be paid to him, within one week, from the date of communication of this order.

5. As the order has been passed in open Court, it is expected from the learned counsel Mr. Shailesh Kumar that he will forthwith communicate this order to the Vice-chancellor

Patna High Court CWJC No.6945 of 2020(4) dt.21-01-2025 3/3 and the Registrar of the University, so that, the payment should not be delayed, in any manner, without the order being pronounced.
