In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.112 of 2015, arising out of Deepnagar P.S. Case No.253 of 2014, registered for the offence punishable under sections 304(B)/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is the husband of the victim-wife. Allegation has been made against the petitioner that he has killed his wife by strangulation within one and half year of marriage.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27071 of 2016 (2) dt.14-07-2016 2/2 for bail is rejected. However, the Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible preferably within a period of one year.
