JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 02-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No. 285 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 25(1B) / 26 of the Arms Act. In the instant case, there is recovery of one country made pistol without cartridge.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 24.12.2019.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody for more than five months, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17541 of 2020(2) dt.02-06-2020 2/2 to the satisfaction of Sri Pramod, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Saran in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No. 285 of 2019 with the condition that the petitioner on release will render his service as volunteer for a period of three months in dedicated Covid Hospital. He is required to report to the District Nodal Officer in the concerned region, who shall utilize his service in this pandemic.
