Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 144, 147, 448, 380, 436, 341 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner was on bail at pre-cognizance stage but after cognizance when summons was issued to petitioner, the aforesaid summons was received by brother of the petitioner, who was also an accused in the present case. Admittedly, neither any notice nor any process was ever personally served upon the petitioner. Moreover, petitioner is in jail custody since 12.05.2016. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on
