Petitioner seeks bail in connection with S.T. Excise Case No. 579 of 2018, arising out of Karjain P.S. Case No. 96 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under sections 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition of Liquor and Excise Amendment Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that merely on confessional statement of co-accused, petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. He has no concern with liquor in question. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 18.08.2018.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the

No.58718 of 2018(2) dt.28-09-2018 2/2 petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional District and Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Supaul in connection with S.T. Excise Case No. 579 of 2018, arising out of Karjain P.S. Case No. 96 of 2018.
