JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 04-04-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Saarai Ranjan P.S. Case No. 117/2018, G.R. No. 1830/2018 registered under Sections 34 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per prosecution version the informant along with his friend were coming from his maternal house by cycle and on the way two motorcycles came behind them upon which four boys were riding and one of them snatched the mobile phone from the friend of the informant. On disclosure of the apprehended accused petitioner's name has transpired.

No.18288 of 2019(2) dt.04-04-2019 2/3 Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that name of the petitioner is said to have transpired in the disclosure of the accuse Farhan Kaushar as one of the participants in the alleged occurrence, but apart from that there is no other material to connect the petitioner in the alleged occurrence and also that he has no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case whereunder the name of the petitioner is said to have transpired in the disclosure of the accuse Farhan Kaushar as one of the participants in the alleged occurrence of snatching of mobile but apart from that there is no other material to connect the petitioner in this case as also nothing has been recovered from the house of the petitioner and further that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks, let the above-named petitioner be enlarged on bail furnishing bail bond of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) with two sureties of the
