2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Katra P.S. Case No. 318 of 2023 for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 308, 504, 506, 34 of the I.P.C. lodged on 24.11.2023 by the informant Naresh Sharma.

3. As per the prosecution story, some altercation took place between the informant and the accused and specific allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting the informant by iron rod and hit from the motorcycle. Accordingly, the F.I.R.

4. Though, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the injury has been found to be simple in nature.

5. Learned APP opposes the prayer and points out that a bare perusal of the learned Sessions Judge order would show that the injury on head resulted into heavy bleeding and it was

6. Taking into account the aforesaid facts and it would be appropriate that the petitioner seeks bail, the anticipatory bail application stands rejected.

7. If the petitioner surrender within four weeks from today, the Court shall take up the matter and dispose it preferably on the same day.
