The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offence under Sections 323, 504, 498(A), 406, 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

From perusal of the complaint petition which was sent to the Police Station, Lakhisarai, it appears that there is no allegation of any specific overt act against the petitioners. The petitioners are said to be the mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother of the husband of the victim girl.

No.1759 of 2017 (2) dt.19-01-2017 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners in the event of surrender, named above, within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order, in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 274 of 2016, shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr. P.C.
