A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent nos. 2 to 8 Petitioner is a 4th grade employee and office bearer of the union. He has raised a grievance through this writ petition that the quarter in which he is living is water logged. The authorities are not taking steps for removal of the water logging which has created serious sanitary problems. The respondents, in the counter affidavit, delineated

It has been stated that the petitioner has not been honest in raising the said grievance before the authority inasmuch as he used abusive language against the officers/respondents. However, the respondents have taken steps for removal of water logging inasmuch as the concerned authority including the Darbhanga Municipal Corporation has been requested for taking steps for mitigating the hardships of the residents of the area in which the petitioner resides. Water logging is a common problem which the authorities are required to address as and when it occurs. The court would only expect that the respondents are sincere in doing so as is found from the statement(s) made in the counter affidavit. The writ petition is , accordingly disposed of.
