1. The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present petition is to direct the District Magistrate, Patna to dispose off the pending Arms Case No.9-474 of 2014, which has been initiated in pursuance of the application filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license.

2. Per-contra, the learned counsel for the respondentState submits that in case the aforesaid case is still pending consideration, the same would definitely be concluded within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Court.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6366 of 2020(3) dt.11-12-2024 2/2 case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Patna to dispose off the aforesaid Arms Case No.9-474 of 2014 in case the same is still pending consideration, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4.The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
