JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 20-10-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 342, 323, 504, 506, 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is said to have demanded extortion money from the informant, who happens to be a small betel shopkeeper. No doubt, petitioner carries criminal antecedent of four cases but in the present case, he is languishing in jail custody since 31.03.2016 and the investigation against him has already been completed.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33547 of 2016 (3) dt.20-10-2016 2/2 bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Bhagwanpur P.S. Case No. 37 of 2016.
