Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No. 246 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under sections 30(b) and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. He has no concern with liquor in question. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 19.06.2018.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the

No.61162 of 2018(2) dt.06-10-2018 2/2 petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Begusarai in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No. 246 of 2018.
