2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Imadpur P.S. Case No. 156/ 2024 dated 20.12.2024 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 137(2), 140(3) and 96 of the B.N.S.
3. The main submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel are that the petitioner is not named in the FIR, the FIR was registered four days after the commission of the alleged occurrence of kidnapping while the factum of disappearance of the victim had come in the knowledge of the informant immediately after the commission of the alleged occurrence and in the FIR, the main allegation has been levelled against the co-accused, Deepak Kumar by the informant and during the course of investigation, the petitioner and his own brother have been implicated on the ground of previous enmity running in between the petitioner's family and the informant's family due to some land dispute. It is further submitted that the petitioner is

No.19173 of 2025(3) dt.22-04-2025 2/2 cousin brother of the so-called victim, so, it is not believable that he helped the main accused in committing the alleged occurrence of kidnapping. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has fair and clean antecedent and he has been languishing in jail since 05.01.2025 and the so-called victim has been recovered and investigation against the petitioner has been completed.
4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer of the petitioner.

In the facts and circumstances of this case and considering the aforesaid submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel coupled with the fact that the petitioner has fair and clean antecedent and investigation against him has been completed, this court is inclined to grant the relief of regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be released on bail in connection with Imadpur P.S. Case No. 156/ 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-( Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
