2. The present Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "A. For direction to the respondents to credit the cheque amount with interest, lawfully deposited by the petitioner.

B. For direction upon the respondents to furnish CCTV footage of dated 02.04.2025.

C. For direction for initiation of appropriate action against erring bank officials for their arbitrary, illegal and mala fide acts.

D. For any other relief/reliefs

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he has deposited two cheques bearing Cheque No. 038927, amounting to Rs. 3,00,000/- and the Cheque No. 038928, amounting to Rs. 3,21,000/- with the Respondent-Bank on 02.04.2025, however, the authorities have not credited the amount to the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the authorities have deliberately not credited the amount and informed the petitioner on 08.04.2025 that the validity of the cheques deposited by the petitioner has expired. Learned counsel submits that in case, CCTV footage is verified it would be clear that the petitioner has deposited the above said cheques on 02.04.2025 that is within the validity period and therefore seeks a direction from this Hon'ble Court to direct the Respondent-Bank to verify the CCTV footage and credit the amount due to the petitioner.

5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent-Bank has drawn the attention of this Court to the pay slip filed by the petitioner for depositing the above mentioned cheques which clearly shows that the same was deposited by the petitioner on 08.04.2025.

6. A perusal of the cheques reveal that both the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4632 of 2026(2) dt.20-04-2026 3/3 cheques are dated 05.01.2025 and it is clearly mentioned on the cheques that the validly period of the cheques is three months only.

7. Having regard to the same, this Court does not find any merit in the present writ petition and the same is dismissed. It is left open to the petitioner to avail the remedies as available to him under the law.
