Petitioners seek bail in Darbhanga Town P.S. Case No.162 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners were not apprehended on the spot. Three persons, namely, Chandan Kumar, Dablu Paswan and Rakesh Kumar @ Tannu were apprehended by the police on the spot. The name of these petitioners has been taken by co-accused Chandan Kumar. Petitioners are in custody since 18.08.2018.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-IV-cum-Special Judge, Darbhanga, in connection with Darbhanga Town P.S. Case No.162 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioners.
