2. The petitioner, who is working as Family Welfare Worker, is aggrieved by the decision of the respondent in not promoting him to the post of Block Extension Trainer, on which post, some of the persons junior to the petitioner have been promoted.

3. From the averments made in the writ petition, it appears that the promotion to some of the Family

Patna High Court CWJC No.7232 of 2019 dt.01-05-2019 2/3 Welfare Workers to the post of Block Extension Trainers has been given only after the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee which had considered the case of the petitioner as well.

4. No reason appears to have been assigned for not recommending the case of the petitioner.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner has shown to this Court three instances, who are later entrants in the service, have been given the aforesaid promotion.

6. The petitioner has made a representation before the Director-in-Chief of the Bihar Health Services for the needful, which representation has not yet been disposed of.

7. This Court, under the aforesaid circumstances, directs the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the Director-in-Chief, Health Services, Bihar, Patna (respondent no. 3) within a period of three weeks from today, who, on receipt of the same shall, after verifying

8. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
