The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Balrampur P.S.Case No. 84/2014 instituted for the offences punishable under sections 341, 323, 354, 379, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution story as alleged in the F.I.R. is that one Sumitra Devi started assaulting the informant along with other persons and the petitioner also caught her sari and started pulling it. The said allegation against the petitioner does not make an allegation of outraging the modesty of the informant.
